Laura Llaneli takes part in Todo lo sólido se desvanece en el aire, a group exhibition at Centre del Carme in Valencia, curated by Diana Padrón and on view from 23 October to 13 December 2026.
Organised and produced by the Consorci de Museus de la Comunitat Valenciana, the exhibition brings together María Alcaide, Pablo Capitán del Río, Denis Darzacq, Natalia Domínguez, Miquel García, Cristina Garrido, Laura Llaneli, Lemos and Lehmann, and Lorenzo Sandoval.
Against the backdrop of a society shaped by virtuality and the transformation of working practices, Todo lo sólido se desvanece en el aire reflects on the growing dissolution of the stable categories that characterise so-called ‘immaterial labour’. The exhibition addresses issues such as remote working, hyper-productivity and multitasking, as well as the constant demand for adaptability that permeates contemporary life.
In dialogue with the city of Valencia, the project brings together works in a range of formats and disciplines, including artistic research, design, illustration, photography, sculpture, installation, video and sound art. Through these practices, the exhibition offers a critical perspective on the social, professional and cultural transformations of the present.
