The artist presents her work in this international exhibition organised by Sant Andreu Contemporani following her selection for the Premi Miquel Casablancas 2026.
Elsa Casanova is participating in Tra ciò che appare, an exhibition organised by Sant Andreu Contemporani and MuchoMás! that brings together the projects of four artists from the Catalan art scene in Turin. Curated by Irene Coscarella, the exhibition offers a new opportunity to present Casanova’s practice in an international context.
Her participation follows her selection in the Project Production category of the Premi Miquel Casablancas 2026, one of the leading awards for emerging artists connected to Barcelona. The award recognises a multidisciplinary practice spanning design, installation, image-making and research, exploring how images and objects contribute to shaping the imaginaries through which we interpret reality.
Through her participation in Tra ciò che appare, Casanova continues a practice marked by research and experimentation, while further consolidating her international profile beyond the local art scene.
