On the occasion of Paris Photo, we asked the exhibiting galleries for their suggestions on 3 images at 3 different price points: under 1,000 euros, from 1,000 to 2,000 euros, and over 5,000 euros. Here are the results, and thank you again to them!
Admira Gallery (Italy) is dedicated to Italian photography of the 1950s and offers a photograph by Mario Biasi, One Sunday in August, Milan 1949 for €1000, a photograph by Sante Vittorio Malli, When Snow Means Bread, 1956 for €2000 and one by Stefano Robino, Seeing Off the Cristoforo Colombo, Genoa 1957 for €4500.
ADN Gallery (Spain) offers two images by María María Acha-Kutscher priced at €950 and €2000, and one photograph by Marina Vargas, which is priced at €20,000.
The Galeria Alarcon Criado (Spain) are offering for sale two photos by José Guerrero at €1500 and €2900, and one by Ira Lombardi at €18000.
Galerie Alta Gallery (Andorra) doesn’t offer any photos for less than €5000 and is presenting Better Left Unsaid, Accra, Ghana, 2024 by Carlos Idun-Tawiah for €5300..
