I wanted to connect with the essence of the iconic work of Marcel Duchamp “Air de Paris”: the air. Air from the 20s in Paris. How can I get it? I was very lucky (and also I did a lot of research) because I found this vase from the 20s of the, also iconic, Schneider glass company, which was located in Paris. So air from the same place and time of the work of Duchamp! Then I started to calculate the volume of air that it is inside. After measuring more than 30.000 bubbles, these are the results: Num of bubbles: 31.299 Total volume: 3,79 cm³
