Due to a lack of raw materials and inefficient planning in Cuba, often planned production output is significantly less than the actual output. Noticing these recurring discrepancies within the construction industry, the artist creates a hypothetical model of what could have been built if four different companies’ production plans had been followed through. ‘378.890 sqm planned’ is an industrial park ‘built’ based on calculations of the sum of unproduced material.
