El dolor en un pañuelo (Pain in a Handkerchief), is an old video where Galindo appears tied to a vertical bed, and news of rapes and abuses committed against women in Guatemala are projected on her naked body. Apart from the iconic and historical power of this work, which includes the artist's first performance, it also manifests a claim that has been recurrent in these 24 years of experience: the denunciation of structural, manifest, and permanent violence against women.
