Telediario
is a
work made by ceramic printing on glazed china porcelain, refers to the
traditional dishes from Limoges, Delft or Cartuja de Sevilla the
artist has been collecting at Rastro in Madrid. In this case, the
traditional decoration of flowers and pastoral landscapes is replaced by an
myriad of pictures taken from TV news. Military, terrorists or activists,
displaying their weapons, occupy the central part in these dishes, alluding to
the idea of violence in contemporary history that we observe immunized from
the comfortable interior of our living rooms.
